In 2014 Citroen launched its second-generation C4 Picasso, an MPV that was eventually joined by the C4 Cactus. Throughout its tenure within the local market, the Picasso established itself as a value-filled if somewhat quirky addition to the local automotive scene.
The French brand, having pulled out of South Africa only to return recently, subsequently stopped selling both the Cactus and Picasso while introducing a new model line-up that includes the Picasso’s successor, the C5 Aircross, as well as the smaller C3 Aircross.
