In production since 1999, the Ford Ikon was based on the Ford Fiesta hatchback platform. It received a facelift and engine change in 2009 with a new front end, 15-inch alloy wheels and a new interior. The Ikon is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine, that replaced the 1.4-litre DuraTorq TDCi, producing 74 kW and 143 Nm of torque.
