Latest Information on Zotye Nomad
Back in 2010, the Zotye Nomad was mentioned as being South Africa’s cheapest SUV. It was powered by either a 1.3-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre petrol engine, and paired to a five-speed manual gearbox. Power was sent to the rear wheels and neither of the two engines featured a 4×4 drivetrain. For its price, many were impressed that the Nomad came equipped with ABS braking with EBD as standard. It also featured an air conditioner, power steering, electric windows and mirrors, central locking with remote keyless entry and a CD front loader. At the time of its release, it was sold for R119,995 for the 1.3 4×2 and the 1.5 4×2 was sold for R139,995. The Nomad was also sold with a one-year roadside assistance plan, a three-year/75 000km service plan and a three-year/100 000km factory warranty.
