Latest Information on Mazda B1600
The Mazda B1600 was part of the B-Series bakkies. The B1600 was first introduced as part of the second generation models to the US market in 1972. Some third generation models were also sold as the B1600 on markets outside of Japan. Models were later changed to the B1800. These third generation Japanese models had a claimed power output of 71 kW (95 hp) and a top speed of 140 km/h. These newer models were also said to be more comfortable than the previous ones. Furthermore, it was fitted with a woodgrain dashboard and other luxuries. Models that followed were then, the B2000 until 1987, then the B2200 into the 90s. Between 1993 and 2000, South Africa also saw the B3000 and B3400 – powered by V6 engines.
