Landwind is an automobile brand owned by Jiangling Motor Holding. The parent company of a joint venture between Changan Auto and Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC). JMC launched the Landwind SUV in South Africa, which is marketed as the JMC Landwind 5. In other markets the model is sold as the X5. The Landwind 5 is available in a 6-speed 4x2 manual and a 8-speed 4x2 automatic variant. The AT flagship model is equipped with an electric sunroof, multifunctional steering wheel, AT cruise and leather seats as standard. The model is powered by a 1 997cc, four-cylinder petrol engine which is enhanced by a intercooled turbocharger.
