Latest Information on Ford Explorer
The Ford Explorer is an SUV that was introduced in 1990 and has survived through five design generations. Its name derives from the Ford F-Series trim packages of the early years between 1968 and 1986. As the Explorer was intended to replace the Ford Bronco II, it was created in a two-door and four-door body style. The four-door model was the first four-door SUV in Ford’s line up. The two-door, Ford Explorer Sport, was discontinued in 2003. Initial models also derived its chassis and powertrain from the Ford Ranger. The Ford Explorer SUV seats seven and offers a quality interior, high-tech features and hearty mechanicals.
