Latest Information on De Tomaso Pantera
The De Tomaso Pantera was a sports car produced by the Italian automaker De Tomaso between 1971 and 1993. The Pantera was designed by the Italian design company, Ghia, to replace the De Tomaso Mangusta. It made use of the Argentinian flag, with a T-shaped symbol, in its logo because of its Argentinian founder. The car made its debut in Modena in 1970 and then appeared at the 1970 New York Motor Show a few weeks after. One year later, the first batch of Panteras began selling and production was upped to three models a day. The Pantera had plenty of standard features, leg-room was generous but headroom was restricted to drivers shorter than 6 ft./1,83 m. Furthermore, conventional body-hugging sports-car seats replaced the slat-backed seats in the production version.
