Latest Information on Citroen DS5
The compact executive car was launched in Europe in 2011 and is the third model in Citroën’s luxury-focused DS sub-brand. The DS 5 was inspired by the Citroën C-SportLounge concept car. The cabin is said to be aviation inspired like the concept car. There is also a diesel-electric hybrid version in the range, DS 5 Hybrid4, that’s fitted with a 122 kW 2.0 HDi diesel engine combined with a 28 kW electric motor that sends power to all four wheels as per requirements. The hybrid can also drive on battery power alone. It is also Citroën’s first hybrid powertrain and has already won Best Eco Car AT the 2012 Scottish Car of the Year.
