Mid-size commuter showdown

Commuter motorcycles are a great middle ground option for riders looking for a mix of practicality, performance, and affordability. They’re considered middle-weight bikes, more powerful than 125cc or 250cc models but not as heavy or aggressive as 600cc + bikes. They generally have enough torque and horsepower for highway speeds and overtaking without being overwhelming for new riders.

Verdict

It's hard to argue against the allure of the CF Moto. You get a more powerful bike with better equipment for a cheaper price. The Honda still trumps the CF Moto with keener fuel consumption figures. If you are in the market for a reliable commuter bike that can nip through traffic and deliver an exciting ride, we highly recommend testing both machines back to back before buying, but given the choice, we would take the CF Moto home.
