If you have ever wondered if all bikes with a certain engine size are identical or comparable, you need to see this. Just because two machines have the same engine size does not mean they will all be like one another. When comparing 750cc bikes like Suzuki's Gixxer 750 and Honda's NC750 reliable commuter, these two bikes could not be any more different.

The GSX is a sharp and focused machine designed to slice through twisty corners and hand out hidings at the local track weekend, while the NC is going to take you and your groceries to the local coffee shop and onto the office in comfort and convenience. The GSX has an uncomfortable track-based riding position. In contrast, the NC has the upright, almost scooter-like riding position and a handy storage compartment where the fuel tank would normally be. The differences are quite obvious aesthetically, but how do they compare regarding specs?

Honda NC750

Verdict

The GSXR and NC couldn't be more different if they tried, with the only common denominator being the 750cc displacement. The GSXR is a track-focused weapon made for agile speed, while the NC is a brilliant commuter and travel machine built for economy and comfort. Depending on what you want to do with the bike will determine which model is best for you. If you are looking for the speed and handling for your weekend warrior activities, then the GSXR is the bike, but for most that are seeking a machine that can do the work commute and still head out and carve some corners in comfort, then the NC is the one you should take home.
