Celebrating the ladies
If one were to walk into many a motorcycle event you would no doubt be greeted by a wall of testosterone with the bulk of the ladies there, on the arm of a male biker. Female riders are few and far between and should be celebrated when found not harassed into not coming back or asked where their significant other is to ride the bike. I know this sounds terrible but it is a daily experience for the majority of female bikers out there.

The IRFD event is trying to change that, allowing women bikers to step out of the shadows and claim their spot on the road. #IRFD or International Female Rider Day is a global event that is run around the world on the 4th of May, celebrating the strong-willed women who dare tackle the status quo of the motorcycle community.
Here in South Africa we will be celebrating the IRFD in Gauteng with 3 mass rides from select starting points that will wind their way to the endpoint at Zwartkops Race Way in Centurion.
Starting Point 1 is ROC (Harley Davidson / KTM in Alberton
