Sylco was established in 1999 and operates mostly in the Western Cape region of South Africa and is considered one of the leaders in its industry. Reasons for our success include great customer relations, continuous training of our employees, own workshop facilities, competitive pricing, a 50 000 m² outdoor test and training facility for our plant and diversification of our services. What started out as a small side-line business with about five units of plant has grown today into a large company with a variety of plant for hire, trucks available to transport aggregates, containers etc., used plant and trucks for sale as well as Skip Rental to dispose of your domestic or commercial waste. We started hiring out plant to the agricultural, construction and civil industries and expanded the business into the transporting of aggregates, hiring out containers, – access equipment, and – mobile cranes. During May 2011 we further diversified when we opened our used sales division for plant and trucks. In March 2020 Sylco acquired Helderberg Skip Rentals in order to further diversify our company and complement our existing resources. We can offer you over 40 skips, ideal for all your waste management needs.
