McCormick tractors have been around for a number of years yet never at the forefront of consumers’ minds. The company, along with Case IH was acquired by the Landini Corporation which, thanks to the acquisition became the fourth largest tractor manufacturer in the world. All Landini, McCormick and Valpadana branded tractor ranges are manufactured in Italy, in the factories of Fabbrico, San Martino in Rio and Luzzara, in the province of Reggio Emilia.

Here in South Africa, McCormick tractors are sold through Argo Industrial (Pty) Ltd. The companies profile also includes Gallignani bales, Fella haymaking equipment, Morra balers and haymaking equipment, Agrimaster sprayers and shredders, Sigma 4 frontend loaders and Manip frontend loaders.

The mid-size standard agricultural tractor from McCormick

The latest B-MAX T2 tractor range from McCormick features a fresh modern look along with enhanced ergonomics in both two- and four-wheel drive versions. Entirely manufactured in Italy by Argo Tractors, the new B-MAX T2 range delivers excellent performance combined with high reliability and functionality. Two models in the range are all powered by Perkins 1104 series four-cylinder engines that deliver high torque backup and quiet, eco-friendly performance while ensuring excellent fuel economy.

The large heavy-duty agricultural tractor from McCormick

The C-Max series is a range of simple and modern tractors. Available in both platform and cab versions, the C-Max tractors are powered by ecofriendly, fuel-efficient Perkins 1104D engines that deliver 74, 83, 92.5 and 102hp. The tractor features an advanced fuel injection system that optimizes air-fuel mixture and enhances combustion efficiency, these engines combine high power and torque levels with low running costs. The C-Max 110 is also available in a turbocharged version powered by a Perkins 1104-44T engine that develops 106.8hp. There is also a high-clearance version of the C-Max which is ideal for specialty crops.
