From enhanced connectivity and increased power to unmatched comfort and advanced performance, here’s what you need to know about the latest S Series.

Stay Connected with JDLink and Combine Advisor

The John Deere S Series is all about keeping you connected, no matter where you are. With JDLink, the latest in wireless connectivity, operators can remotely monitor the performance of their combines from anywhere—whether at the field’s edge or across town. JDLink streams real-time data to the John Deere Operations Center, providing critical machine and crop information that can be accessed on a desktop or mobile device.

This connectivity doesn’t stop at monitoring; it extends to actionable insights. Combine Advisor, a powerful feature within the JDLink system, helps ensure peak performance across various conditions. Once you've set your machine’s parameters, Combine Advisor works in the background, automatically adjusting settings based on moisture content, crop conditions, and other variables. This means you can focus on your harvest without constantly fiddling with controls, as the combine fine-tunes itself to maintain optimum performance.

Tracks for Improved Traction and Comfort

For operators who require enhanced flotation and reduced soil compaction, the John Deere S Series now offers an option with tracks. The track system comes in either 30-inch or 36-inch belts, providing superior ground contact compared to traditional wheels. Not only does this reduce soil compaction, but it also delivers a smoother ride, which is especially valuable during long harvesting days. Additionally, these tracks allow faster transport speeds, up to 40 km/h, helping you move efficiently between fields without wasting time.

ProDrive Transmission for Precision Control

The John Deere S Series features the advanced ProDrive™ Transmission, designed to provide seamless transitions between two-speed ranges—ideal for both transport and fieldwork. Operators can easily set one range for harvesting and another for road transport, allowing for precise control and smooth operation across varying conditions. This sophisticated transmission system ensures optimal performance with minimal effort, reducing operator fatigue and improving fuel efficiency.

Powerful Engine for Demanding Harvest Conditions

At the heart of the S Series is the 13.5-liter PowerTech™ PSS engine, designed for high-output performance. Delivering around 353 kW of power, this engine offers remarkable low-speed torque while maintaining the responsiveness needed for various harvest conditions. With a power boost of up to 37 kW, the engine ensures that your combine is always ready to handle demanding tasks, cutting through dense crops or challenging terrain.

Advanced Harvesting Technology

To keep up with the high demands of modern farming, the S Series features two critical advancements in threshing and cleaning technology:

TriStream Rotor System: Built to optimize fuel efficiency, the TriStream rotor helps reduce the force required to move crop material through the combine by as much as 20%. This allows the combine to work more efficiently while preserving fuel, essential for longer harvest days.

Dyna-Flo™ Plus Cleaning System: This advanced cleaning shoe system is engineered to provide exceptional grain cleaning, even under tough conditions. The larger cleaning area and improved airflow ensure a high-quality grain sample, even in the most challenging harvest environments.

These two innovations allow the S Series to maintain high-capacity threshing and cleaning, starting right at the feeder house, where the combine provides large clearance areas to allow for the uninterrupted flow of crop material.

Cab Comfort for Long Harvest Days

The S Series doesn’t just perform well—it ensures operators stay comfortable and focused throughout the long hours of harvest. The cab is designed for ultimate comfort, with several features that reduce fatigue and improve ease of operation:

Enhanced Visibility: The large, clear windows provide excellent visibility in all directions, helping operators stay aware of their surroundings at all times.

Convenient Adjustments: Features like platform tilt, precision residue management, and easy crop changeover allow operators to adjust the machine with minimal effort, making field transitions faster and more efficient.

Increased Storage and Comfort: Harvest days often stretch into long weeks, and the S Series is designed to make those days more comfortable. The updated cab includes additional storage space for provisions to keep your food and drinks within easy reach. An integrated refrigerator ensures your snacks stay cold, while new Bluetooth speakers improve mobile device functionality, allowing operators to stay connected without taking their hands off the controls.

Efficiency Meets Performance

One of the biggest challenges during harvest is ensuring that machines operate at peak performance despite changing field conditions. The John Deere S Series rises to this challenge with its combination of high-tech features, powerful engines, and efficient systems. The TriStream rotor and Dyna-Flo Plus cleaning shoe work together to maximize throughput while maintaining grain quality and fuel efficiency. The ProDrive™ Transmission ensures seamless shifts between transport and harvesting modes, allowing operators to stay productive in the field and on the move.

A Comprehensive Harvesting Solution

The John Deere S Series combines all the elements farmers need for a successful harvest: advanced technology, powerful performance, and operator comfort. The S Series sets a new benchmark for modern combines with its JDLink connectivity, ProDrive transmission, efficient engine, and advanced threshing and cleaning systems. Whether harvesting grain, corn, or other crops, the S Series is designed to maximize efficiency and keep you harvesting longer with less downtime.

John Deere has once again redefined what a combine can do, giving you the tools to improve your operation and get more out of every harvest.
