Here is why the Mahindra 6075 is a good tractor
While John Deere might be the most recognizable tractor brand in the world, it is the Indian based Mahindra Tractors which is the most popular based on sales figures alone. Since January 2021 the Indian manufacturer has sold just over 136 000 tractors, in India alone. The company has grown exponentially since it started manufacturing agricultural equipment and has for the past three decades been India’s undisputed No. 1 tractor brand and the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volumes.
What powers the 6075?
The 6075 forms part of the manufacturing giants 6000 Series of tractors which is the most advanced series on offer. These tractors feature a high performance 4 cylinder with direct injection, water cooled, turbo charged engine. The 6075 develops 54kW and 237Nm of torque. They also benefit from an easy shift synchromesh transmission with Power shuttle and a big lift capacity.
More on the transmission
Through extensive development Mahindra has decided to fit a heavy duty transmission into the 6075 model. This 15F+15R, fully synchromesh heavy duty transmission which is fitted as standard is reliable and easy to-use. This transmission also features very wide gears which provide great strength for the high torque loads being transmitted. The transmission also features Power shuttle which makes shifting between forward and reverse easier. The system eliminates the need to depress the clutch every time you change directions, this feature benefits productivity during intensive loader operations.
Hydraulic power
The 6075 is fitted with a 3 point linkage system for maximum stability as well as safety. The telescopic lower links provide fast and simple attachment of rear mounted implements. A powerful hydraulics system also features and boasts a maximum lift capacity of 2200kg, which should be more than sufficient for most heavy-duty implements.
Front axle upgraded
To improve on the reliability aspects of the 6075, Mahindra has added a heavy-duty front axle to handle higher loader and field work requirements. The new epicyclic reduction system offers high dynamic load carrying capacity and the improved hydrostatic steering has a tight steering angle, for effortless manoeuvring, even in confined areas.
Operator comfort a key element
The new Mahindra 6075 has been designed to perform out in the field. It is for this reason that the engineers and designers have given special attention to the operator comfort levels. This tractor features a deluxe seat which comes with various comfort elements like formed cushions, adjustable suspension and armrests. The floor is also flat, with side shift gear levers, and the suspended brake and clutch pedals provide improved legroom and a spacious work area. The new Easy-Step Tilt Steering Column now allows for adjustments to the steering wheel position. All of this this combined with a suspended platform provides for an improved and comfortable experience.
Having worked with generations of farmers, Mahindra tractors are known for their exceptional built and performance on rugged and unforgiving terrains and that is why the 6075 needs to be on your list.
