Built for Real Work

CLAAS's large tractors have established themselves as reliable and robust machines in the industry. The XERION, along with the two AXION model ranges, provide the perfect solutions for any demanding agricultural task.

Four Equal-Sized Wheels on Two-Steered Axles

One of the most prominent features across all variants is the configuration of four equal-sized wheels on two steered axles. This design ensures a large contact area with the ground, enabling optimal conversion of tractive force into pulling power. The two steered axles offer flexibility with different steering modes, catering to a wide range of applications.

Continuously Variable Drive Train with Over 372 kW

The impressive power output from the Perkins engines is smoothly transmitted to the axles through the continuously variable ZF Eccom transmission. The high mechanical component in the transmission allows for fuel-efficient operation and economical performance.

Full Frame Construction for Heavy Loads

The XERION boasts a full support frame that provides exceptional strength. The engine and transmission are mounted separately on silent blocks, effectively minimising vibrations. The large cross beams further enhance the frame stability, resulting in high load capacities of up to 15 tons per axle.

Intuitive and Ergonomic Controls

CLAAS has developed an intuitive operating concept that combines the CEBIS onboard information system with the CMOTION multifunction control lever. This unique configuration allows the driver to control essential functions directly while maintaining a relaxed arm position on the armrest throughout the operation.

Convenient Reverse-Drive System with Rotating Cab

The XERION TRAC VC (Variable Cab) features a cab that can rotate 180° in less than 30 seconds, simply at the press of a button. This innovative design positions the cab at the rear of the tractor, providing an excellent view of rear-mounted attachments. All controls automatically adjust to the new position. This feature offers unparalleled convenience for tasks such as silo work, wood chipping, snow blowing, or mulching.

Swan Neck Coupling and Plenty of Usable Power

The XERION comes equipped with a swan neck coupling, making it compatible with trailed slurry tankers. The 110 mm ball hitch located behind the cab is designed to handle a maximum drawbar load of 15 tons. Placing the hitch directly behind the cab allows for a smaller turning radius and a shorter overall combination length compared to rear-mounted slurry tankers. Furthermore, the XERION delivers ample power with the full output efficiently transferred to the PTO stub, enabling reduced fuel consumption even when operating at full engine capacity.

In conclusion, the CLAAS XERION large tractor represents a significant advancement in utility farming machinery. Its powerful performance, innovative features, and user-friendly design make it a valuable asset for farmers seeking a reliable and efficient workhorse.
