Case IH Quadtrac 715 Wins Tractor of the Year 2025 Award for HighPower Category
The Case IH Quadtrac 715, the flagship model in the Case IH tractor lineup, has been awarded the Tractor of the Year 2025 in the HighPower Category for tractors over 300hp (225kW). The prestigious accolade was presented on the opening day of EIMA 2024 in Bologna, Italy.
The new Quadtrac 715 boasts several innovations, including a heavy-duty mechanical suspension with hydraulic cushioning, enhancing comfort and productivity across all 2025 models. The design features larger drive wheels that maximize power transmission, improve lug engagement, and reduce soil compaction through a larger footprint. Double-axis mid-rollers improve traction by equalizing pressure across the tracks and eliminating point loading. These improvements allow for higher field speeds, boosting work rates while minimizing service time through automatic track tensioning and maintenance-free components.
“We are proud to see the recognition of our engineering team's dedication to developing capabilities that help large farms maximize efficiency,” said Marco Lombardi, Head of Case IH and STEYR brands EMEA. “As the pioneers of the four-tracked articulated tractor, we continue to evolve this iconic design to meet the growing needs of large-scale agriculture. The new Quadtrac 715 is the most productive tractor we've ever built, offering exceptional power, traction, and hydraulic output to help owners complete tasks faster and reduce total ownership costs.”
The Quadtrac 715 impressed the pan-European judging panel of farm machinery journalists, who evaluated the tractor based on engine performance, fuel efficiency, emission standards, and transmission reliability. The model features the FPT Cursor 16 TST twin-stage-turbo engine, delivering 778hp at 1,900 rpm and a maximum torque of 3,356Nm at 1,400 rpm, with maintenance-free after-treatment that meets Stage V emissions standards. A PowerDrive powershift transmission ensures minimal torque loss, and intuitive controls, including a Multicontroller-mounted right-hand power shuttle switch, make operation more seamless.
Additional innovations on the new Quadtrac 715 include configurable buttons for customizable control setups, AccuTurn for fully automatic headland turns, an automatic trailed implement steering lock to prevent damage during reversing, and up to 428 l/min of oil flow to support demanding implements. Enhanced comfort features include automatic pivoting steps and a powerful lighting package delivering 76,620 lumens. The tractor is also equipped with AccuGuide auto-steering and is compatible with the new Case IH FieldOps monitoring and management app.
The Quadtrac 715 continues to set the standard for high-performance, high-efficiency tractors in large-scale farming.
