The Subaru Forester is the bread-and-butter for Subaru, not only locally, but globally too. It's the go-to for both active lifestyle individuals and consumers who demand a high level of quality and reliability. Subaru has listened to the public and the new Subaru Forester is a noticeable improvement over the outgoing model.

The 4th-generation Subaru Forester was criticised for having too little power, it's 2.0-litre engine struggling to keep with the times, particularly when using it up at the reef. The new 5th-generation Subaru Forester rectifies that with the fitment of a 2.5-litre engine. 

Power is up but the Forester retains all the agreeable features that make it so easy to live with. We took the new Forester Sport for a test drive, here's what we thought of it.
