2017 Renault Duster 1.5 dCi Dynamique 4WD - Car Review
The Renault Duster is known for its affordability, versatility and spacious, hard-wearing interior. While it's not an entirely new model, it's been revamped and updated and we're pleased to report that it's better than ever.
The changes extend to new headlights and taillights, black alloy wheels, a redesigned center fascia and new fabric treatment on the door cards and seat inserts. Expression models now have electric windows at the rear while cruise control is standard across all models. Dynamique models see the addition of a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with Bluetooth and navigation.
The engine is the revered 1.5-litre, inline 4-cylinder turbodiesel that produces 80kW and 240Nm. Mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, Renault claims that the combined fuel consumption is 5.3l/100km, but we found it to hover around the mid-6s.
