Since Great Wall Motors (GWM) touched down in South Africa, the automaker has gone from strength to strength and has even gone on to launch its very own sub-brand, namely Haval. The latter marque has been focussing its efforts on SUVs, however, now GWM will get its own SUV model, the Tank 300 HEV.
The Tank 300 HEV is set to compete with some fierce rivals, including the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Wrangler and even the Land Rover Defender to name a few. Sean Nurse spends some time with the new model in Australia, both on and off the beaten track, to find out how well it performs.
