2017 Audi Q5 2.0TFSI Quattro Sport - car review

It's yet another WesBank South African COTY finalist that crosses our path: the new Audi Q5. It's Audi's best-selling SUV to date and we have to believe that the mantra of "all those people can't be wrong" is quite accurate.

With a supple and compliant air-ride suspension and a very advanced Quattro system under its skin, the new Q5 has impeccable road-manners. The 140kW / 400Nm 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine has a fair amount of pull, but you do feel the weight of the big SUV.

The added MMI Navigation Plus and Audi Virtual Cockpit elevate the tech-aspect of the Q5 and provide a host of connectivity and functionality.

What the Q5 does lack though (in our opinion) is character. It's a brilliant machine, but to us it feels a little impersonal, perhaps. Take a look as we drive this very accomplished Audi and decide for yourself if you agree.
