What is covered under Ford Ranger Warranty?
The warranty for a Ford Ranger is 4 years / 120 000 km Warranty and comes with a 6-year / 90 000 km Service Plan. It covers all parts on the Ford Ranger that may fail during normal use due to a manufacturing defect in factory-supplied materials or factory workmanship.
Defects in manufacturing-supplied material or workmanship are covered for 100% of labour costs and on a pro-rata adjustment basis for parts.
More than 500 components are commonly insured under a warranty and include these areas:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Steering
- Brakes
- Front and rear suspension
- Electrical
- Air conditioning and heating
- High-tech
- Emissions
- Ford audio
- Safety
What is NOT covered by Ford warranty?
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents.
- Damage caused by alteration or modification.
- Normal wear and tear, parts and labour for regular maintenance: oil changes, tire rotation, cleaning/polishing, etc.
- Damaged caused by the environment.
- Tyre wear or damage under normal operation.
