The Ford Mustang has to be one of the most accessorised vehicles in history. From the launch of the original Mustang in April 1964, a lengthy options list was compiled by Ford that included Rally Packs, special steering wheels, alloy wheels and the like.
The latest Mustang is no different, and today Ford offers a specialised range of accessories in the Mustang catalogue that can make your Mustang an even greater personalised motoring experience.

Top 5 Mustang accessories
1. If your Mustang is the apple of your eye, you’ll want to offer it the best levels of protection. Ford offers this Weathershield Style cover, for use when the Mustang is garaged or on those rare occasions when it has to stand outside.
2. Rear bumper diffuser. This high-quality item is finished in matt black and adds a competition-style element to the rear of your ‘Stang. It is designed by Ford, and your dealer will be able to install it easily.
3. Full over-the-roof striping kit. This high-quality striping kit comes with a 3-year warranty and can be used on Mustangs fitted with or without spoilers. It is made of high-quality 3M High Performance Graphic Film and is available in black or white.
4. Bonnet louvres. These bonnet louvres, or “hood louvres” as they are known in the U.S, come in matt black and add a further racy touch to your Mustang. Made of tough polyurethane, they can also be painted to match your car’s colours, and are fitted without any drilling needed.
5. Quarter window louvres. This is probably our favourite accessory for a modern Mustang, as they harken back to the 1965 original Mustang, when similar louvres were fitted to the Mustang 2+2 fastback model. They are easy to install and are fitted using high-strength adhesive tape. They can be painted to match your car’s colour.
