How to top up windscreen washer fluid on an Opel Adam.

Follow these simple steps to replenish your windscreen washer fluid on the Opel Adam.

A clear view of the road is the most crucial element of motoring. Impaired vision causes a multitude of issues. Aside from being dangerous, a dirty windscreen can cause additional eye strain and stress as you struggle to make out details on the road.

Your Opel Adam is equipped with a windscreen washer that uses a combination of water and windscreen wash fluid that will not hard the paint or rubber trims on the car. When this solution is depleted, you will need to top up or refill the fluid reservoir.


You will need:

Clean water
Over the counter windscreen washer solution (available at auto parts stores)

How to:

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Locate the washer fluid bottle; on the Adam, it's in the front right of the engine bay. (See attached image)
3. Open the cap and fill with clean water up to the full mark.
4. Add a few tablespoons of washer solution, or as indicated on the washer fluid packaging.
5. Close the washer fluid reservoir cap.
6. Close the bonnet securely.
7. Test system to ensure it works as needed.
