We show you how to locate and refill your windscreen washer fluid in your Suzuki Vitara.

Clearing your windscreen is crucial for safe driving. A dirty or clouded windscreen impairs your vision and can be a serious safety concern.

Make sure that your Suzuki Vitara has sufficient windscreen washer fluid so that you can clear your windscreen when necessary.

Here's how you can check your fluid levels and top up if necessary.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the bonnet.
  2. Locate the windscreen washer fluid reservoir – on the Vitara, it's behind the drivers-side headlight and has a blue cap.
  3. The bottle has a marking on it that will indicate the fluid level – if the level is below the 'Full' mark, you should top it up.
  4. Open the cap.
  5. Fill the reservoir to the 'Full' mark with windscreen washer fluid (diluted according to the instructions on the bottle) or clean water.
  6. Do not overfill the bottle, this is bad for the system.
  7. Replace the cap.
  8. Test to see that the system works effectively.
