How to top up screen wash on a Land Rover Discovery

Should you run out of windscreen wash while you are out and about on the trails, we show you how to top up the windscreen washer fluid on your Discovery before heading out onto the trails again. 

Clearing away the dirt

The Land Rover Discovery is an off-road enthusiasts dream. It is arguably the most fun you can have in the dirt. The side effect of that is going to be a very dirty windscreen that will require constant cleaning to keep the route ahead clear. 

Should you run out of windscreen wash while you are out and about, we can show you how to top up before heading out onto the trails again.

You will need:

• Clean water
• Windscreen wash additive

Let's get started!

1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the washer fluid reservoir, it should have a blue plastic cap.
3. Fill the reservoir until the fill marking 
4. Add a few tablespoons of the additive or as directed on the packaging.
5. Close the bonnet and test the system.
