The aim is to be seen so keeping your cars lighting sorted is of utmost importance. Replacing a brake light bulb is a relatively easy task that you can tackle in just a few minutes with minimal tools.
You will need:
- Replacement dual filament bulbs
- No.3 Flathead screwdriver
Let's get it done
1. Open the rear hatch
2. Locate the screw covers behind the light assembly
3. Use the screwdriver to pry up the cover
4. Use the screwdriver to remove the plastic retainer nut
5. Remove the light assembly by simultaneously pulling backwards and outwards
6. Remove wiring plug
7. Remove the bulb holder by lifting the four locating tabs and removing the thumbscrews.
8. Exchange the bulb
9. Assemble in reverse order
