How to replace a lightbulb on a Opel Mokka

The Opel Mokka's stylish looks can be greatly attributed to its headlights. These headlights still run the standard H7 headlight bulbs which do have a lifespan and will need to be replaced at some point.

This is a relatively easy home DIY job that you can do in a matter of minutes with no tools required and, we can show you how it's done.

 

You will need:

  • Replacement bulbs of the correct size and rating
  • Soft cloth

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Locate the back of the headlight assembly

 

3. Remove the cover

 

4. Remove the wiring plug

 

5. Depress the wire retainer clip to release the bulb

 

6. Replace the bulb taking care not to touch the glass of the bulb. If you do touch the bulb clean with a soft cloth.

 

7. Reassemble in reverse order and repeat on opposite side and test.
