The latest iteration of the Opel Astra is fitted with the Intellilux Matrix headlights, they are non-serviceable by vehicle owners and if any problems occur you should take them to your nearest Opel dealer. But if you have one of the older model F,G or H derivatives we can show how to change out a headlight bulb.

Just follow our step-by-step guide below

 

 

You will need:

 

  • Replacement H4 headlight bulbs

 

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the bonnet.

 

2. Locate the back of the headlight and remove the wiring plug.

 

3. Remove the rubber cover.

 

4. Depress the retaining clip and remove the old light bulb.

 

5. Install new light bulb and reassemble in reverse order.
