Toyota’s FJ Cruiser has been on the market here since 2011. It’s one of the most funky models in Toyota’s entire range and still sells steadily, if not in serious volume.

When do I need to change wiper blades?
When your wiper blades start making streaks on your windscreen, the time is ripe to replace. They may also start juddering or squeaking when they are operated. You may like to get this done by a Toyota workshop, but it’s a simple 20 minute job once you know how to do it, and it requires no tools, so doing it yourself can save workshop labour costs. Measuring the blades and taking a picture of them will ensure you buy the correct replacement blades. Remember, there are three of them!

Step by step guide to replacing the FJ Cruiser's wiper blades
1. Start with the nearest blade to the driver's door, by flipping the wiper arm upwards.
2. With the wiper arm extended away from the screen, swivel the blade so it is at a right angle to the arm.
