The Ballade name plate has been around in South Africa for decades. The latest version launched locally in 2014 and many of those models are still going. Timeous maintenance of your Ballade can ensure it keeps going for years to come and one of the easiest bits of DIY that you can do, is to change out your windscreen wipers before every rainy season.

You will need:

  • New wipers for year model
  • Soft cloth

Let's get started!

  1. Lift the wiper blade arm up.

  2. Locate the pinch clip and press until you hear a click.

  3. The wiper blade has a press clip attachment

  4. Slide the new blade holder upwards into the wiper arm.

  5. Apply gentle pressure until it clips back into place.

  6. Repeat on the opposite side
  7. Use the soft cloth to clean any dirt and dust from the windshield before placing the new wipers down, as this can lead to scratches on the glass

Pro Tip: This vehicle uses a longer blade on the driver's side and a shorter blade on the passenger side, don't confuse them!
