If you're the proud owner of a Volvo XC60, there's a whole range of accessories you can still add, even if your XC60 is getting a little long in the tooth.

Car Ownership

After a quick internet search, we've ascertained that you can still add original Volvo extras for XC60 models as old as 2009. For a full range of accessories for all types of Volvos of all ages, click here. For pricing of the accessories below, please contact Volvo1 directly, here.

1.

Not all of us have the ability to ace parellel or even perpendicular parking every time, but Volvo's Park Assist Pilot sure has. Don't risk unnecessary damage to your car's elegant sheetmetal or diamond cut alloy wheels; rather leave the fancy parking tricks to the sensors and cameras of your Swedish supermobile. (Available on recent models.)

2. Smartphone integration

Most of us can't live without our phones. Use your Volvo XC60's touchscreen like you would your smartphone by retro-fitting Volvo's smartphone integration. Now you can simplify your life by using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay for everything from having your Whatsapp messages read out to you, to composing emails or listening to your favourite tunes on Spotify. (Available on recent models.)

3. Dog harness

Yes, the Swedes do think of everything, even your dog's needs. Prevent Rex or Rover from injuries while they're travelling in the car with this handy dog harness.

4. Kick guard

It may look like an unnecessary expense, but if you were brave enough to buy a Volvo with white, pale grey, or "blonde" seats, let me assure you, it's not. This kick guard will shield your XC 60's seat backs from dirty marks made by your little one's shoes. And apart from that, it's a practical way to keep your car organised, as this item has several storage pockets for smaller items such as bottles or toys.

5. Volvo neck pillow

You get two types of passengers: Those who can sleep in cars and those who can't. If you regularly make long journeys and your beloved co-passenger is in need of a bit of shut-eye, this supportive neck pillow will keep her (or his) neck steady for some much-needed rest and relaxation.
