3 Tata Super Ace accessories you didn’t know you needed.

The Tata Super Ace is a compact 1-tonner primarily focussed on servicing small to medium-sized businesses. Each business might have different needs from its Tata Super Ace but here are three accessories that could enhance the safety and efficiency of using the Super Ace.

Car Ownership

The Tata Super Ace has been working in fleets locally for some time now, however, during 2015 the Indian automaker made a few changes to the 1-tonner based on customer feedback. Named the Super Ace EX2, the newer model saw at least 60 specification changes take place, most of which happened under its skin.

One of the biggest benefits of owning a Tata Super Ace EX2 is most certainly the large load bay. The surface area is completely flat and measures 1500mm wide and 2 630mm long. For added convenience owners can easily open the sidewalls of the load bay to load and unload the bay with little effort.

1. Canopy

While indeed the Tata Super Ace EX2 offer a large loading area, except for the sidewalls, items stowed in the back remains exposed to the elements and theft. Fitting a canopy to the rear will not only protect the load from rain, hail or the battering African sun but will also deter the opportunistic criminal from grabbing any items.

A canopy will limit the overall size of items that can be loaded on the flatbed but can easily be removed for those instances where additional height clearance is necessary. A canopy also contributes to the overall styling of the vehicle and should it be one without windows could even serve as a moving advertising board for your business.

2. Loading rail

For those entrepreneurs that need to transport longer items such as pipes and ladders, a load rail will best serve your needs. Unlike the canopy, this is a more permanent solution where if you need to remove it, will take a little more effort and some tools. Nonetheless, it creates a flat platform on which longer items can be loaded and secured safely while retaining most of the loading area of the load bay.

For customers that would like the benefit of both a canopy and the loading rail, there are specialized companies that can create a hybrid between the two solutions giving you the best of both worlds.

3. Nudge bar

It is highly likely that if you are a contractor of sorts, you will have to enter construction sites which are usually riddled with equipment and materials. In those very confined spaces, you might find yourself just nudging against these obstacles even if there was no intent to do so. This is where a nudge bar comes in handy as it will protect the body of your Tata Super Ace and even more critical items such as the radiator from damage should a small impact occur.
