3 MINI Paceman accessories you didn’t know you needed.
The MINI Paceman is a three-door crossover SUV that was produced between 2013 and 2016. Not only was it a unique offering from the British automaker but also unique in its segment. While the Paceman is no longer available new, there are a few accessories you can add to a used model to make it feel like new.
Based on the larger Countryman model, the Paceman offers customers the convenience of a raised ride height and stylish exterior and interior design, however, in a slightly smaller package than the Countryman. Currently, MINI offers the Clubman, Convertible, Countryman and hatch locally but if you are considering a Paceman, there are used examples to be found and with a few new accessories will present as good as new.

One of the biggest drawing cards for the MINI Paceman was that it offers an optional all-wheel-drive system named ALL4. This system sent the power to all four wheels via either the standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed automatic. The MINI Paceman comes with a wide variety of engine options including turbocharged diesel options and the 1.6-litre twin-scroll, turbocharged petrol motor found in the flagship John Cooper Works Paceman.
1. Wheels
At launch, the MINI Paceman was available with six wheel designs, each with varying finishes which resulted in a total of 12 wheel options. The designs ranged from 16-inch options, all the way up to 18-inch units that would fill up the wheel wells. Colour options ranged from Black to Anthracite Grey and all the way to white meaning you could have your wheels be understated or contrast the body colour in a dramatic way.
If the standard range of wheels is not flashy enough, customers can opt for one of the four 19-inch John Cooper Works designs. These options all came in darker shades for that complete racer look.
2. Decals
Nothing quite says your car is sporty like a set of racing stripes and MINI offer just that for the Paceman. Customers have the option to only install bonnet stripes in either white or black or just have side stripes added in either white, black or red hues. Also available is Sport stripes or more commonly known as GT stripes which run from the bonnet, over the roof and down the tailgate and come in white, black or red.
Owners of early MINI vehicles often painted the Union Jack flag on the roof of their cars and MINI continues this trend on even its most current models. Customers not only get the option of having a Union Jack in colour or in grey tones added to their roof but also a checkered flag or even a smartphone.
3. Interior options
Although the MINI catalogue offers a large range of items for the exterior of the Paceman, the British automaker also includes options for sprucing up the interior. For the central MINI rail that extends the length of the interior, MINI has developed items such as a cup, note and smartphone holders as well as a rail bag and glasses case.
If the owner wants sportier interior trim, MINI has a variety of carbon fibre and leather-clad items such as gear knobs, sport steering wheels and even auxiliary gauges. Customers can also change out the reverse mirror cover for something a little more bright or for one with the Union Jack to match the decal on the roof.
As for technology items, there is a DVD kit available that sees two screens installed to the headrests of the front seats. A portable Garmin navigation system is also available with an optional integrated holder on the steering column for the easy access for the driver.
