The last time Volkswagen introduced the Jetta model locally was back in 2014. The Volkswagen Jetta was available with a choice of three petrol engines and two diesel. The petrol motors took shape as either a 1.2-litre, turbocharged or 1.4-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder, the latter offered in two power grades. The diesel options manifested as either a 1.6-litre, turbocharged or 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder.

Since the introduction of this model, the German automaker has been focussing its product strategy towards hatchbacks, crossovers and SUVs. However, if you are looking for a compact sedan vehicle the Volkswagen does still offer the Polo model. If you already own a used Volkswagen Jetta and would like to spruce it up a bit, we have the top extras listed below.
1. Boot spoiler
An easy way to give your Jetta a sporty character is by fitting a boot spoiler. While a large spoiler could bolster the sporty theme, a simple body-coloured boot-lip spoiler not only does the job well but is a non-intrusive process. All you need is to clean the surface and apply adhesive and mount the 1-piece spoiler. These spoilers can easily be found already finished in the colour of your Jetta and adhesive tape already applied to the spoiler.
2. Wheels
Continuing on the aesthetic theme, why not opt for a new set of wheels. Most Volkswagen dealerships will offer a variety of styles but you could also order the sporty Rama design or the more classic Trenton style wheels (pictured). These two wheel-designs were created for the latest Volkswagen Jetta that is available in specific regions only. You should note that the wheels do not come with tyres, mounting, balancing, valve stem and cap, centre caps, or TPMS.
3. Roof box
If you are looking for something a little more practical, then why not opt for a roof box. Although the Jetta offers a respectable 510-litres of luggage space and additional 340-litres couldn't hurt if you and the family are planning on a road trip. The box is constructed from DUROKAM thermoplastic and is styled to reduce drag and noise.
Your luggage that is kept safe from the elements can easily be accessed from either side of your vehicle thanks to the DuoLift dual-side quick release system incorporated.
