5. BMW X4
BMW describes the X4 as a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) rather than an SUV as it combines the raised ground clearance and SUV-like capabilities with the more stylish coupe-like roofline. According to this survey, the German model is a favourite amongst owners for its reliability too. While other BMW SAV and SUV models also came near this score, the X4 managed a score of 83 out of a possible 100.
5. Jeep Wrangler
The Jeep Wrangler series is probably one of the most recognized recreational vehicles globally. This is in part due to its unique design but also because of its off-road abilities. It also managed to score highly in the J.D. Power survey, bringing in 84 out of a possible 100 per cent.
3. MINI Countryman
A popular model amongst fashionistas is, of course, MINI. The British brand not only makes hatchbacks great for city commutes but also more practical models such as the Countryman, which provides a little more ground clearance and more importantly, up to 1 390 litres of luggage space. In this recent survey, it also managed to score an impressive 85 per cent out of a possible 100.
2. Porsche 911
One of the reasons why the Porsche 911 is so popular amongst enthusiasts is because the core recipe hasn't changed over the decades of the model being in production. Meaning, that the overall silhouette and engine placement remain much the same as with the classic examples. But make no mistake, as the German automaker has made incredible advancements in performance, driving dynamics, technology and, according to this survey, reliability too. The Porsche 911 scored 86 out of a potential 100 per cent.
1. Lexus IS
If you have ever had a driving experience in a recent Lexus model, you would know the attention to detail that Lexus goes into when building a car. In almost every aspect, the Lexus IS provides high-quality craftsmanship and, this is shown in this survey. The Lexus IS scored a very impressive 90 out of a possible 100 per cent.
