The Toyota Land Cruiser is arguably one of the most iconic vehicles made by the automaker. Millions of off-road drivers swear by the hardy box like nature of this V8 powered behemoth that seems to be able to go anywhere. That go anywhere, do anything, tackle any terrain attitude means that the Land Cruiser has to stand up to some rather punishing circumstances and it's comforting to know that Toyota has a warranty that matches the tough-as-nails nature of this vehicle.

The Land Cruiser 76 is sold with a 3 year / 100 000km manufacturer warranty, a 5 year / 200 000km maintenance plan and an option for a 7 year / 200 000km service plan.

The warranty covers defects in materials, construction and workmanship and Toyota will replace whatever needs to be fixed at no cost, as long as those repairs don't fall under the exclusions list.

  • Abuse or negligence
  • Misuse — for example, racing or overloading
  • Improper repairs
  • Alteration or tampering, including installation of non-Genuine Toyota Accessories
  • Lack of or improper maintenance, including use of fluids and fuel other than those specified in the Owner’s Manual nstallation of non-Genuine Toyota Parts
  • Airborne chemicals, tree sap, road debris (including stone chips), rail dust, salt, hail, floods, wind storms, lightning and other environmental conditions
  • Water contamination
  • Tyres
  • Brakes
  • Clutches
  • Wiper blades
  • Batteries
  • Engine tuning
  • Refillable fluids ie; lubricants, fuel, washer fluid
