What is covered under the Nissan Micra manufacturer warranty?

If you're serious about buying a Micra, the 6-year warranty should sweeten the deal.
Nissan is serious about keeping their customers happy with their Nissan Assured promise and offer a 6-year/150 000 km warranty. Here's what they say:
"Through Nissan Assured we promise to provide our customers with the peace of mind they need.As long as your vehicle is under warranty, we guarantee the mechanical integrity if anything goes wrong. You don’t need to stress for the first 6 years or 150 000 km, whichever comes first. Your warranty ensures total peace of mind, hassle-free maintenance from our dealer network nationally. Exclusions apply."
What is covered?
"Your new vehicle warranty is protected so long as you have your vehicle serviced at the recommended intervals as stated in your service schedule, and at your Nissan Dealer."
Nissan says "The New Vehicle Warranty covers all parts and components of each new NISSAN vehicle except for tyres and those items listed under the caption "What is not covered". As for battery, adjustment and air conditioner refrigerant recharge, the warranty period is different from that of New Vehicle Warranty."
What is not covered?
Things such as tyres (they have their own warranty), non-Nissan accessories or parts (and the installation thereof by non-Nissan persons), wear and tear items, repairs carried out by a non-Nissan dealer, and any Nissan vehicle on which the odometer reading has been changed.
