The Grand Vitara is now Suzuki's flagship product within the local market, offering an option for those wanting a larger vehicle from the Suzuki stable. The Grand Vitara was released earlier in 2023 too much fanfare, selling out from most dealers within days.

The Warranty

Every Suzuki Grand Vitara is sold with a 5-year / 200 000km warranty and a 6-year / 90 000km service plan.

  • Warranty covers defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for the warranty period.
  • Warranty begins at the date of first registration.
  • Warranty will only be valid if all services are kept up to date and done at authorised Suzuki dealership.

 

How reliable is the Suzuki Grand Vitara?

 

What is NOT covered by the warranty?

  •     Fire, accidents or theft
  •     Abuse or negligence
  •     Misuse — for example, racing or overloading
  •     Improper repairs
  •     Alteration or tampering, including installation of non-Genuine Suzuki accessories
  •     Lack of or improper maintenance, including use of fluids and fuel other than those specified in the Owner’s Manual installation of non-Genuine Suzuki Parts
  •     Airborne chemicals, tree sap, road debris (including stone chips), rail dust, salt, hail, floods, wind storms, lightning and other environmental conditions
  •     Water contamination
  •     Tyres
  •     Brakes
  •     Clutches
  •     Wiper blades
  •     Batteries
  •     Engine tuning
  •     Refillable fluids ie; lubricants, fuel, washer fluid
