The Audi A3 is the German brand's mid-tier premium vehicle that offers a derivative to suit every taste. Available as a Sportback hatch, luxury S Line sedan or RS performance model, the A3 can be had with a number of option packages.

Audi continuously updates these packages and as such the specs change over time. A few years back Audi offed a Technik package for the A3 that added MMI navigation plus with MMI Touch controller, driver information system, rear-view camera, and an upgraded 10-speaker audio system.

New deal

That package has morphed slightly and is now called the Technology package. The Technology Package contains the following equipment:

- MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch

- Audi connect infotainment services

- Audi virtual cockpit plus

- USB ports with charging function in rear

Estimated cost - R 33,500
