We compare details of the three engines in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta line-up to see which is the most efficient. 

 

The engine line-up of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta features three turbo petrol engines -  the 1.4 Turbo Petrol, the 1.4 Turbo MultiAir TCT and the 1750 Turbo Petrol TCT.

 

In order to measure efficiency, we breakdown the details of each engine: 

 

1.4 Turbo Petrol

Our Giulietta engine efficiency crown goes to this engine. This engine uses a mix of technology systems to blend high-performance levels with the lowest emissions and fuel consumption levels in its class for petrol engines of this power rating. It’s said to be a lively and flexible engine which is also fitted with the Start&Stop system. This engine’s fuel consumption and emission levels resemble more of a diesel engine than a petrol one with this power rating (4.6 l/100 km in the extra-urban cycle and 131 g/km of CO2 emissions).
