These load-bed covers come in a variety of options. There are the standard canvas and metal ribbing type, fibreglass lid types and rolling aluminium “Armadillo” style covers. Each one has its own merits depending on the vehicles use but they all provide some form of protection for the goods in the bed.

Most new vehicles are sold without side sill steps as standard and need to be specified when the vehicle is purchased. Many new owners don’t fit these from new and it is a very popular fitment on second-hand vehicles, especially when the last two items on our list are fitted as well.
