Upcoming BMW X Lifestyle Park

BMW SA is opening a lifestyle park in Midrand, in November, made up of 1,3 km’s of off-road track. The driving modules developed are to showcase the capability of the BMW xDrive system.

While on our BMW xPlore tour, BMW SA also took us to play in their new and upcoming BMW X Lifestyle Park in Waterfall, Midrand.

Also abbreviated by BMW as ‘XLP’ – so if you happen to see it as BMW XLP elsewhere on the World Wide Web, you’re welcome. Obvious to some, not to others, hence the explanation.

What is the XLP?

The Lifestyle Park is made up of 1,3 km’s of off-road track developed to showcase the capability of the BMW xDrive system within all BMW X models via twelve off-road modules.

The X Lifestyle Park wishes to focus on a family-orientated lifestyle experience and will also offer activities like abseiling, zip-lining and park runs.

Additionally, a BMW Lifestyle store will be opened at the XLP, along with a coffee shop, food stalls and fitness activations.

Entrance Cost

The cost for an off-road BMW Driving Experience course at the XLP will start from R2,750.

Opening Date

The Park is scheduled to open to the public in November 2018.
