The current Golf 7 rang received a facelift in 2017, with some additional models being added later in the year. Here is a list of standard-equipment tyres as fitted to the current range, many of which will be applicable to the line-up when the seventh=generation Golf was introduced in 2013.
Volkswagen’s Golf has been a mainstay in the company’s model line-up for decades, and this year, in South Africa, the Golf nameplate celebrates its 40th anniversary. The Golf 7 is a far cry from the simple first-generation car in terms of equipment and sophistication, and these days it is seen as one of the premium hatchbacks on the market. To assist Golf drivers in their ownership experience, here is a list of the original-equipment tyres fitted to the current line-up. Many of these tyres sizes will also apply to the current generation car, available her from early 2013.
We also list tyres that are optional for each model, and also cover the performance-orientated GTD, GTI and Golf R Models.
