The Ford Figo demonstrates that a compact car doesn’t mean sacrificing safety, quality, or features. It offers a more than buyers would ever expect.

 

1. Safety features

Ford has taken utmost care regarding the safety of its passengers in the Figo facelift. The Figo features dual side and full-length curtain airbags, in addition to the front (driver and passenger) airbags that are standard across the range.

There’s also ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), an engine immobiliser, front three-point seat belts, rear seat belts (three points on outer, and static lap belt on centre seat), driver and passenger height-adjustable seatbelt with seat belt reminder, drive-away locking, rear view parking camera, remote keyless entry, and a perimeter alarm.

Certain models in the new Ford Figo range can also be found with ESP (Electronic Stability Program), TCS (Traction Control System) and HLA (Hill Launch Assist).

3. Ford MyKey

The Ford MyKey is included in the Titanium specification. It allows owners to programme a key for their teenagers, who have just learnt to drive of course, which controls incoming phone calls, it restricts the top speed, it reduces the audio system’s maximum volume and/or disables the audio system altogether if occupants are not using their safety belts.
