Instantly recognizable, the BMW X1 offers the best of both worlds with its sportiness and nimble handling paired with useful technology and utility features.

1. 56CM Legroom

The BMW X1 offers 56 cm of leg room in the rear making it comfortable even for tall passengers. This has been paired with comfortable seats and a high roofline making the interior feel remarkably spacious and inviting.

Adding to roomy feeling in the X1, is the tremendously clear view from the raised seating position and the large window surfaces all-round the vehicle. The elevated seating position in the BMW X1 offers a number of benefits including that of safety. Not only the driver but passengers too will enjoy the all-round view. The seating also makes entry and exit from the X1 substantially more convenient for all passengers.

2. Flexible Seats

Aside from the already generous luggage space, the X1 has a highly flexible interior with a folding passenger seat backrest and variable rear seat offers space for bulky objects such as bicycles.

The adjustable rear seats are a key feature and can slide longitudinally in a 60:40 ratio, by means of the easy-to-reach handle below the seat, making the cargo space very adaptable. You can either opt for more rear legroom for the passengers or an increased luggage volume. The angle of the backrest with its 40:20:40 split is also adjustable. This means an additional gain in comfort for the passengers and a further extension to the luggage compartment.

Flexible seating doesn’t just end there. Your X1 can be had with a front passenger seat that has a foldable backrest, optionally available. This backrest can be completely folded down forwards with ease, creating a virtually flat surface. This enables longer items and sport equipment up to a length of 2.50 metres to be transported.

3. LED Light Design

The BMW X1 can be recognised by its light design. It features LED daytime running lights as standard. LED headlights are optional and come with the extended functions of cornering lights that offer a bright and efficient Bi-LED light for low beam and high beam. The cornering lights in LED technology allow an adaptive beam distribution with increased illumination of the side of the road. At the same time, LEDs use up to 50 percent less energy than conventional bulbs – with a significantly higher lifetime and enhanced illumination range.
