Featuring a 4.2-litre V8 engine with 309kW, you won't have to be hesitant when overtaking slower vehicles on the highway. It has a top speed of 301 km and it will do the obligatory 0-100 km/h sprint in a brisk 4.6 seconds. The car to own if you like to attract attention!

Let's be honest; the R8 is one of the most impractical cars to live with on a daily basis. The person who did buy an R8 as a daily drive would have realized this sooner than later, and that's why low-mileage R8s are so easy to find. In this price range, you'll find much to choose from.
This silver R8 4.2 quattro is a prime example of a special occasion car; it's a 2011 model with only 52 000 km on the clock. The owner probably drove it to church on Sundays or took it on regular breakfast runs, but not much else. You will find it at Melrose Nissan. What a beauty!
Get your hands on this spotless polar white R8 4.2 quattro in Observatory. It features Xenon headlamps, a reversing camera, and V10 rims, among other things. This gorgeous set of wheels has 72 000 km on the clock and is a 2012 model.
Audi R8 models from R800 000 to R900 000
There is only one R8 in this price range - the more-powerful R8 V10 Plus quattro, identical to the one in the photo above. Its mileage is a little high, though (98 000 km) and it's eleven years old (2009).
Audi R8 models priced from R900 000 to R 1000 000
This fire-hydrant red R8 4.2 quattro (2013) seems very lightly used, especially when you take a look at its odometer, which has only 29 000 km on it. Its red leather seats also seem to be in mint condition, and its owner had a Bang and Olufsen sound system fitted as an optional extra. It's at Goedehoop.
