The 2022 Subaru WRX is one of the quirkiest iterations of the WRX nameplate to date and if anything, a last hurrah for the vehicle at least in internal combustion engine form. Many will feel mixed feelings towards this iteration's styling, but something is clear, the WRX is ready to tackle the rough stuff with its plastic cladding guarding the wheel arches and bumpers along with a not-too-low ride height.

Powering the WRX is an all-new 2.4-litre turbocharged boxer engine producing 202 kW and 350 Nm sent to all 4 wheels via either a traditional 6-speed manual gearbox or Subaru Performance CVT automatic transmission. It's powerful and rugged clearly.
