The Honda BR-V plays in the hotly contested 7-seater MPV category, going up against the likes of the Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Avanza. It's a market that places a lot of emphasis on value for money and reliability, as most of them will end up in the professional sector, being used as a taxi or shuttle bus.
For the 2020 model year, Honda refreshed the BR-V with some additional tech, comfort and safety to make the overall value proposition that little bit better.

Here's what they changed for the 2020 model year.
1. Noise insulation
The latest Honda BR-V is quieter than before. The engineers at Honda have given the new BR-V more noise-deadening sound insulation to cut out unwanted cabin disruptions. This makes the passenger compartment more comfortable and relaxing than before, eliminating more road and engine noise.
2. Touchscreen infotainment
It's a tech-fest in the new Honda BR-V with the addition of a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Display Audio system will allow you to connect your smartphone via Bluetooth for audio streaming and hands-free telephone capabilities. It's bundled with a reverse camera display to help you back into those parking bays. Available on Elegance models only.
3. Parking sensors
Two of the BR-V models now benefit from rear parking sensors, the Elegance and Comfort models. This system will emit an audible beep when you approach an obstacle and it will increase in frequency as you get closer, alerting you to the fact that you are nearing contact.
4. LED DRLs
It sounds like alphabet soup but these Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Daytime Running Lights (DRL) help not only improve the appearance of the BR-V, but make it safer too. By having these light strips permanently illuminated while you drive, it helps other road users identify you on the road, improving your visibility to other users.
