In 2015, Mazda unveiled the CX-3 model locally that quickly became a very popular choice amongst SUV/crossover buyers. As of at the time of writing this article, the model is offered in six derivatives from the base Active variant, all the way up to the flagship Hikari model. All six of the derivatives, however, come with the same powertrain configuration.
Under the bonnet of the Mazda CX-3 features a 2.0-litre, naturally-aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 115 kW and 206 Nm of torque. Mazda claims that models fitted with the 6-speed automatic transmission can return an average fuel consumption figure of 6.7 L / 100 km whereas models fitted with a 6-speed manual could return 6.9 L / 100 km.
